How long does it take to transfer money using online banking?

I want to transfer money from one natwest account to another using online banking, how long untill i can use the money?

It should be quite fast. The money would likely transfer to the other account within one day, since it is the same bank on both accounts. Why can’t you use the money that is already in the one account? Why the need to transfer it to another account?
